April, 2009 GIRLS IN PROSTITUTION This project is close to home because of what I discovered during the project: these are the same girls as I - young woman searching for their own path in life. Some girls do the work to later fulfill their dreams, some like the money and for some its'part of their emancipation process. Young prostitutes are surrounded with negative stories, but I want to show who they really are. They gave me the opportunity to portray honest and fair ... that takes courage.
